Welcome home! We encountered the Southern Residents tonight off Stuart Island, northbound toward Boundary Pass. Really nice to see the residents back in town! SPREAD OUT across the Strait of Georgia foraging. So nice to see a couple of the “Jabies”, J51 and J52! K12s, K14s, K16s but no K13s. Most of J pod, including J2 “Granny” too but didn’t see any J17s or J22s -Gary

It was nice to get out on the water today and be surrounded by some J’s and K’s right outside Point Grey near the UBC campus. This was such a cool moment. All three J pod babies were all together playing with J42 “Echo”. At one point J51 joined in and all three Jabies were together!!…
