The T046’s and Carson the Gray Whale – 18/3/25

We found the T046’s near Tulalip, heading into Port Susan.

The family was very spread out, we shut down the engines and T046E Thor gave us some good looks.

The family was very quiet, long down times, Thor seemed to be napping.

The family is led by the sister T122 Centeki, with her 3 brothers T046D Strider, T046E Thor and T046F Loki.

Here’s a few shots including some close ups of Thor’s 6 ft dorsal!

Most pics are of Thor, the others were pretty far away, got a couple shots of Strider as we left.

Then, we came across a gray whale on the way home which turned out to be CRC356 Carson!

Thank you Puget Sound Express!

All photos are taken with a telephoto lens and then heavily zoomed and cropped to show details. All whale watch guidelines were followed and whale flag flown.
