Beautiful Encounter with Bigg’s (Transient) Killer Whales in Howe Sound – 13/8/14
New Biggs calf!! Looks like the mom is T124D. We had a beautiful encounter with them and the T36B’s, T101’s, T90’s, T34’s and T37’s in Howe Sound! There is nothing quite like seeing the T101’s and their massive dorsal fins……so iconic -Gary

An Incredible Day on the Water with 5 Families of Bigg’s (Transient) Killer Whales! – 7/9/15
This was an incredible day on the water. We had at least 5 families (T36, T36Bs, some of the T99s, T100s, T101s, and T137s) of these marine mammal eaters interacting together for hours. Phenomenal Bigg’s (Transient) Encounter! – 26/8/15
Pretty phenomenal encounter with Transients today. T102 and T137A swimming loops around the group of tail slapping, raspberry blowing, spyhopping juveniles and matriarchs. A Meeting of the Bigg’s (Transient) Killer Whale Matriarchs – 14/5/15
This was during a large congregation of Ts, there were at least 25 whales, likely more. They were split into groups that were roughly organized by age and gender, the adult males (T102, T100C, etc) were more-or-less on the outskirts of the entire thing, doing who knows what.
