T065Bs Hunt a Sea Lion – 14/4/22

We came across the T065Bs in Navy Channel today hunting a large Steller sea lion.

This hunt had gone on for nearly 3 hours when suddenly T065B1 breached multiple times…as if to cue some sort of finality.

Sure enough, all three whales gathered around the sea lion on their next surfacing, quickly grasped him and disappeared into the depths.

When the whales surfaced next, they were already on the move. Nature can be crazy! ????
