Sunny Spring Day with Biggs – 15/4/25

You know what heals the soul and body? This.

The orcas are T100B “Freya” (b.1997) and her two kids, T100B1 “Seidr” (b. 2010), T100B3 “Selkie” (b.2024) and Freya’s sister T100E “Tharaya.”

They are part of the greater T100 matriline.

I saw them early this morning at Sandy Point, then caught them again as they rounded the north end of Whidbey and exited Deception Pass.

I’ve seen this matriline several times, but never around Whidbey.

I hope they make us one of their regular stops in the future.

They went on a deep dive at the bridge so no bridge pics, but I’m okay with that.

It was a perfect sunny, spring day!
