It was a magical day watching these Orca whales – part of the Eastern Tropical Pacific population (ETP) who are generally found in the waters off Mexico. It’s anyone’s guess why they have been coming back over & over to the Southern California coast including Dana Point for the past couple months.
I’m hoping this will be the new normal for them ????
For now we’ll enjoy their visits and wait for the next Orca Alert to be announced so we can continue enjoying these incredible encounters. They may possibly still be here tomorrow ????
