Got to meet little L122 the other day!  We got to see the little one a couple days ago when he was about 5 days old! We watched him go through Active Pass for the first time in its life right beside mom, L91 “Muncher”.

It’s important to remember that only about 50% of killer whale calves will survive their first year. It’s very exciting news but always have to remain cautiously optimistic in this critical first year. An exciting day nonetheless!!
