Great day with J pod today and, oh yeah, A FRICKIN SPERM WHALE!

Seeing the largest toothed animal on the planet was incredible but listening to it through the hydrophone while it was on a 35 minute dive was epic. It seemed to be hanging out in about 1000 ft of water last night but, in deeper waters, these guys can dive 2-3km below the surface! 

Sorry J31, you weren’t the highlight yesterday  😉
