Today I went on a private charter whale watch with a few friends and we had an incredible encounter with two individuals who were very curious about us.

This photo shows the eye of one of the whales as it takes a good look at us. We were on a 35′ boat and this is full frame (not zoomed) photo showing how closely this individual came to us all on it’s own. What a deeply humbling experience this was.

I was able to ID them both as Abyss and Mira. Unfortunately, I don’t know which one of them this is though.
