Headed out on Saratoga (Puget Sound Express) with a sighting of orcas near Picnic Point.
They had made it to Mukilteo ferry lanes when we caught up to them. They were very spread out, total of 12 whales and it took a while before we saw all 12.
T137A “Jack” decided to interact somehow with gray whale CRC#22 Earhart and she threw the tail around to let him know she wasn’t playing today.
She then swam at light speed (for a gray whale) over by Saratoga while logging and keeping an eye on Jack and his family. We saw 2 other grays one of which was #2362.
Here are a few shots from the day. Most are of Jack, lol, as I love that big guy!
