Feeding Common Dolphins – 30/9/18

I’ve never seen Common Dolphins when they were actively feeding at the surface, but it appears that’s what these dolphins were doing.

You can actually see the dolphin’s mouth is cracked open, but luckily for that fish it got away.

I’ve only seen Common Dolphins a handful of times in my 18 years of whale watching. Despite the name, this species is not at all common in these waters.

Today we were lucky enough to find a really good sized pod. These dolphins are so beautiful and their speed is pretty mind blowing.
