Farewell, 2025/2026 winter whale watching
By now, all the whales have left the area around Skjervøy and Kveanangen.
This year was slightly different from the previous years, when we had amazing sightings of orcas and humpback whales around Skjervøy until the middle of February.
This year, when the commercial fishing moved further out, so did the animals.
However, this year again was a pleasant surprise to observe the mighty sperm whales in the past week of the season with sunlight, which is finally back ❤
We are sharing some of our beautiful encounters from January 2026.
Now we are taking some time off to rest, and soon enough we will be heading to our summer whale-watching grounds.
