Had a fantastic whale watch off of Pleasant Bay, Nova Scotia with Captain Mark’s Whale and Seal Cruise. Pleasant Bay is part of the world famous Cabot Trail and Captain Mark’s is a great company that has been working with Dalhousie University cetacean researchers for over a decade. We spent a solid 40-60 mins with Long-finned Pilot whales and were treated to a fantastic display including pectoral slapping, above and below water vocalizations and several mom/calf pairs. The trip back to shore was also memorable as we took in the amazing landscapes of the Cape Breton Highlands.
