We had a group of 8-10 bubble net feeding whales near Rennison island, on the west coast of British Columbia.
The group are all regular bubble net feeding whales.
They come to the Great Bear Rainforest every year to feed on the herring together. It’s really interesting how when a whales mouth enlarged to feed, it’s tip of its head looks so small in comparison.
So when they enter the water it looks as if they are almost made of jelly and are wobbling back down into the ocean.
But I also like the spray from their blows, it always makes the photo far more dramatic…
