Big Group of Bigg’s (Transient) Killer Whales in the Salish Sea – 30/6/18

Tonight, after spending some time with the T65As in Sansum Narrows, we decided to go north a look for a big group of Bigg’s (Transient) that had been seen up there earlier.

We found them out in the Strait of Georgia and what a good decision it turned out to be!!

T49A and T49A5

Awesome watching the T49As, T36As, T99s, T175 and T176’s socializing and circling around in the same spot as the sun started to set.

T36A3 kept breaching and vocalizing during the breach and, on this one, started spitting water
