I have previously shared photos of a whale named Patches and I commented how he’s got a very charismatic personality and is frequently seen surface active. Well… this afternoon he was at it again! I absolutely love seeing this whale. He never ceases to amaze me with how high energy he is!
This was the BIGGEST and most surprising breach of several that he treated us to today. I don’t think anyone was expecting this one! Don’t worry, our captain does a phenomenal job of keeping the whales safe by sitting in neutral when they’re close and/or unpredictable with their movements. It was 100% Patches who chose to approach – and breach – this close to us!
