It’s a Whaley good time at the moment on the Gold Coast! 🐋 Fin slapping, Spy hopping & Breaches!

I packed up the gear & took to the water on the jet ski, riding offshore at first light was incredible! Myself & my friend @sweetocean had an epic day spotting whales as well as scoring some up close & personal encounters which where completely on the terms of these gentle & curious giants! 🌊

I captured this shot about 15km offshore directly out east from the Gold Coast Seaway in Queensland, there was a mother, calf & escort travelling back down south & this was Mum putting on a show, tail slapping at the surface, little Bub was launching out and doing little breaches, but wasn’t able to get any snaps!

I can’t wait to get back out for more in the coming weeks as the whales descend back down the east coast of Queensland
