The researchers were hosted onboard our ship and we were lucky enough to see the B1’s when we went to pick them up from their daily zodiac expedition It was incredible seeing them hunt – there were seals out on the ice at the time, absolutely wild
These B1s were seen during a trip on the Lindblad / Nat Geo Endurance – just outside the entrance to the Gullet – along the Western Antarctic Peninsula.
