We came along to a group of three humpbacks just traveling along. As we came on scene two other boats left and we only planned to spend a short time with these animals. As soon as the other boats left, these humpbacks started to go off. Huge cartwheels through the water, two different animals tossing their tails in the air. Every encounter is special but sometimes when you least expect it you get a big surprise. In this sequence we have an animal we call Trinity, BCX1193 who also joined in on the tail toss, in the foreground with a humpback that we are still trying to ID flinging its fluke through the air! What a spectacular sight to be witness to!
