A Picture Perfect Day with the Southern Residents – 9/9/13

Southern Resident Orcas (including J14 “Samish,” J19″ Shachi,” J37 “Hy’Shqa,” J40″ Suttles” J41 “Eclipse” and J49 “T’ilem I’nges)  feeding at the mouth of the Fraser River this morning … I hope they are finding plenty to eat. More cherished memories with the whales were made today … it is a source of constant intrigue and amusement that these whales likely have zero concept in how much emotional impact they have on people
