Caught up on the morning tour with Bigg’s (Transient) Orcas T37, T37Bs, T34s and T36s South of the Clinton ferry dock, they were travelling pretty fast and very spread out but they were SO active!!
They made haste to Possession, went around the corner, then we left them…we saw every activity they do including spyhops, breaches, tail lobs, tail slaps, pec slaps, back floats and in the afternoon a kill.
They continued this socializing behavior throughout the day per Orca Network and then on the afternoon tour they were still going!
We also found between Edmonds and Kingston on both trips humpback BCY0785 “Mathematician”. He wasn’t very active and never got a good look at his fluke.
