A Magical Day with T73, T73D and T74 – 27/5/15

I had just heard a report of Bigg’s (Transient) orcas in Tofino Harbour. When I was done work we headed out to find them in the Sweet Marie water taxi.

They were near the top of Tofino Inlet and we joined several other whale watching boats in viewing them.

After the other boats headed home, we stayed with the whales, reporting their position to Strawberry Island Marine Research Society. The orcas were identified as T073, T073D and T074. An absolutely magical day
