Well, the first whale watch of 2017 is in the books! We went with 7 Seas out of Gloucester, MA and were treated to a fantastic welcome back display by two whales known as Sundown (pictured) and Draco. Sundown was very active and spent her time lobtailing, tail breaching, and flipper slapping. Both whales showed a lot of curiosity towards the boat which is my absolute favorite behavior. Overall, it was a fantastic way to start the season!
