A Bigg’s Meeting in Boundary Pass – 14/8/20

Two matriarchs, T065A and T137, charging up Boundary Pass today.

These two and their kids have spent the last little while down in Puget Sound. A couple days ago, the two males in each group (T065A2 and T137A) came out of the sound with T137B, pushed north and ended up meeting with the T018’s and the entire T036 matriline. Today, the rest of the T065A and T137 family came out of the sound too and, as though it was all planned, ended up meeting up with their kids and the rest of the party in the evening. It was amazing to see the T065As and T137s start porpoising right towards the other whales when they were still almost 10 miles apart!
