The pictures don’t do it justice but today was a ROUGH day on the Strait of Georgia. These were some of the biggest swells I’d seen in a long long time and it was hot, hot, hot – not a great combination.
But when you hear there’s FINALLY been a sighting of K-Pod, you’ll pretty much stop at nothing to get out on the water.
Luckily, the K12s and 13s weren’t too far away – they were travelling just off of Sand Heads.
They barely gave us a second glance as they headed north, they obviously had somewhere to be, but it was great to spend what time we could getting reacquainted with the late- comers to the Southern Resident party!
